Your Plymouth has a MAF (or maybe a MAP) if it has fuel injection. So if it is about 1985 or newer, it does.

While you could reset the codes with the same scanner, you don’t need to for an evaporative leak.  It will clear itself after a few drive cycles.  If the light stays on, then the evaporative system leak was NOT the gas cap.  There are other potential leak points.
