And I remember getting a mere 78 mpg driving from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania in my 2001 Insight which is comparable in size and weight to your 91 Civic. The hybrid tech did make a difference. The new cars are 50% heavier, so they get lousy mileage.

Between 2000 and 2010 there were 10 fatalities in the 14,000 US based 2000-2006 Insights. 9 of those 10 were T-Bone collisions. That is about half the number of fatalities per car compared to industry averages.

What a load of bull. Back in the 80's I needed an electronic cluster replaced in a Chrysler. New clusters could be set to a specific odometer reading (including zero) until the car was driven 10 miles. The idea was to set it to whatever the old cluster had.
