Shawshank Redemption? Forest Gump? Truly great movies. No trains.

correct. That part I agree with. But the part about kids opening the door to oncoming traffic doesn’t make sense since in this case, they would ONLY be able to open into oncoming traffic. But really it’s more for parents being able to unlock the vehicle and have both doors on their side unlock so that nobody else is

the driver’s side is against oncoming traffic. Not the Passenger side.

parking lot situations. Unlock the driver’s side to load/unload the kids without unlocking the passenger side, allowing people to possibly get in. Thieves seeing a mother struggling to get her children buckled in and secured, all while her purse sits on the passenger seat, waiting to be taken. Or small children

My mother had the same van when I was in high school, and if I remember correctly, the unlock sequence being like this was intended for parents looking to put their children in the vehicle with one click, and not having the other side of the vehicle unlocked as a safety feature while in parking lots

EV’s hardly use their brakes anyways with regenerative braking. So maybe this is like a sweater to keep them warm. Poor things

Lol nobody is talking about or recommending a Jaguar to this guy. There are plenty of options in the $20k range that would be much better than either a Mitsubishi or a Jaguar. Those aren’t the only two options. But as a mechanical engineer, working in the automotive industry, that spent 15 years as a technician

GMT800. That’s going to be the cheapest and most reliable transportation that you can get. It’ll cost you $4k, it’ll look like shit, might have some squeaks, rattles, and knocks, but it will always start, run, and drive for you.

A single 8 year old Mitsubishi with just over 100k miles isn’t enough to speak for the whole brand, nor is it an impressive metric by which to measure. 100k miles isn’t impressive in a modern car, it’s the bare minimum. The Mitsubishi isn’t even the right choice if that’s the only dealer that will sell you a vehicle.

the app is awesome because if I’m running low on time, it alerts me, and then I just add more.

Once again. Buick Regal TourX is the answer, per usual.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

looks nice. I’d consider it!

We need to stop shitting on small cheap cars for being small and cheap. We always complain about economy shitboxes and then also complain that the average “affordable” vehicle costs $45k

It held up to even worse, to being dropped onto concrete from multiple stories up without the hitch cracking off,

should be able to hit curbs and crowds a lot quicker! End of the day, anybody that purchases one of these is still just going to have a $300k Mustang.

whoa... take your blood pressure meds, you’re going to have a stroke or an aneurism

or since nobody is ever going to track this anyways, and thus lap times don’t even matter, you could buy a ZL1 Camaro for an even smaller fraction and still have Multimatic parts on it. Even if this mustang runs under 7 minute laps, it’s 17 seconds faster than the camaro, which was developed over 6 years ago

It’s completely model dependent, did they have a “390 mile range” model? And like I already said, that range isn’t accounting for complete highway usage, having the entire family loaded up, and being packed with all the extras necessary for a weekend vacation for 4 people while using the AC on full blast for 4.5 hours
