Uhhh...

“last abandoned airport in the world”?

I’m not watching solely because of that clickbait title

nevermind, it’s fixed now

What’s up with the Jalopnik homepage being just a bunch of articles from other sites, like Inventory?

I cannot believe how much money is still being poured into Autonomous vehicles. Like GM dumping even more money into Cruise AFTER canceling the only project they’ve been working on for years. All the engineering, design, R&D, validation, and production (suppliers included), and they’re just scrapping the Origin. What

The guy in charge of quality assurance had sadly passed just minutes before. He was found with 15 knife punctures in his back. Deemed natural causes.

The far left lane is a passing lane though, and if you’re not passing, you shouldn’t be in that lane. Even if you are the fastest car on the road. Move left to pass, then move right

a requirement I think should be added to registering a bike in the US:

You should have to prove that you can lift your bike from a laid over position before getting a plate for it.

That stuff isn’t really safety related so to speak. Yeah, headlights and wipers, but the big things that they’re apparently not checking in Delaware are things like frame condition, steering and suspension condition, brake lines, brake life, etc. These are the things that should really be inspected, especially in the

as a michigander that has always driven beaters, I don’t disagree with safety inspections. My vehicles may be old and look like shit, but I know they’re safe. Brake lines, frame, steering and suspension components. All mint. Body? Rusted to hell. But if I only spend a few thousand on a vehicle, I can afford to put

Seeing the way real estate booms in tech developments, if I were a local, I could easily be bribed with some of this “affordable housing”. Take ownership, rent it out until they are done building and supply is filled, market goes up in that area, and then sell it before the bubble bursts and that area becomes a ghost

I hear VinFast, Helios, and Faraday Future want to put their HQ’s and plants there though! should bring close to 50k jobs to the local market! But they’re going to need the government and taxes to pay for it all

The rezoning must be approved. Not rezoning and approval of the development.

only reason someone goes for a 1st gen over a 2nd gen is because of nostalgia

I get what you’re saying, but the same could be said with any classic muscle/sports car. The Countach isn’t a great driving car, or comfortable, or impressive by any standard today, and I would agree that there are better ways to spend half a million dollars, but that’s just what happens to culturally significant

GM’s Mary Barra explained that the doing away from Carplay/AA is due to their control over the vehicles interface and software, and GM didn’t want to give up control to another company, and essentially be hostage to those providers down the road.

My guess is that people are desperate to get their flights, and willing to pay to ensure their travel out of desperation. So if they continue “having problems” and refunding ticket prices, they can rebook those same people on flights for exorbitantly higher prices, and the people will pay because they’re forced to.

doubt that’s how it’s going. It’s likely more like this:

“How do we stop this auto theft epidemic?”

I count 49 and a half

my guess is it’s one of the employee’s vehicles. Like a minimum wage oil/tire tech, and they made a deal with the sales department on a new vehicle
