Okay, so they’re both pieces of shit. One’s got 12 arrests, and the other has 17 complaints, some of which probably would have been arrestable offenses had he not been one of the boys in blue (hence the settled lawsuit). Thing is, only one of them is a murderer.

If police are there to serve and protect, hiding and deceiving should be illegal. I have the same feeling about all black police cruisers with black lettering and hidden lights. Who are they serving or protecting by hiding?

Include Erik Shilling

Probably? No, he’s definitely a piece of shit. And another no, because it doesn’t matter who throws it, if you pick up a cooler filled with cans and bottles, and smash it on a guys head like you’re in the WWE, it’s murder. The sergeant was in civilian clothing too, so for all I care, he wasn’t even a cop at that

Found the sergeant’s burner account. trying to justify murder in every comment on this article

He was only riding down a crowded after they decided to chase him. He ALLEGEDLY sold drugs to an undercover officer. Why didn’t they apprehend him them? Why did they decide to engage in a chase in an area crowded with pedestrians?

You’re assuming he was a drug dealer and career criminal because that’s what the police are saying now that the guy was fucking killed. Dead bodies don’t tell on bad cops. The Sargant has had 17 complaints over his career and they had to settle a lawsuit against him 3 years ago. If anything, the cop is a career

You are only being told that this guy was a criminal by the same people that throw coolers full of drinks at scooter rider’s heads. Sadly, it’s a one sided story now that they fucking killed the guy. Even if he did sell drugs to an undercover officer, they aren’t saying what kind of drugs, or how much was sold/bought.

Bolt. Not Volt. Also, Bolts involved in the reacall got brand new batteries, so essentially a 0 mile vehicle after the recall

Maybe splitting hairs, but the Bolts got a battery with more range in the recall, so base model gets 258 miles of range (EPA rated, actual tends to be a bit more).

Erin or Erik?

without reading the article, no. Jalopnik doesn’t hate cars. They do hate car people though! That’s evident in the fact that almost no car people work for Jalopnik anymore. They also hate good content, hence all the listicles. Jalopfeed

right. so almost 1000lbs shy of 10,000. Sounds like splitting hairs, but 1000lbs isn’t nothing

And has the same range as that base F150, and twice as much as the base Mach E

agreed

MAYBE an ESV would do it, but the Escalade IQ has smaller tires and doesn’t have 4 wheel steering like the Hummer EV. Being that the heaviest Hummer EV is 9k lbs, it’s hard to imagine that 40 speakers and a third row are going to weigh half a ton. Hint: they don’t. The current base model, 2wd Escalade has a curb

The Hummer EV is half a ton short of 10,000lbs.

Almost as if big expensive vehicles sell well, and are thus able to fund the smaller, more economical commuter cars with smaller profit margins. Example: The Equinox EV is supposed to start at like $30k. That wouldn’t exist if the Hummer EV didn’t exist to pay for it.

Where did you get 10,000lbs from?

The non WS6 Firebirds with the LT1 and LS1 were still running in the 13s, as were the Camaro Z28 and SS. And the 4th gen F body started in 1993, so by the time the LS1 WS6 came around, that iteration of the chassis was only 5 years old. You could technically say that the F body chassis started in 1967 though because
