Am I the only one that just doesn’t get excited about cars like I used to? Maybe I’m just getting older, but I just have no emotion about cars like this. I hate to bring it up in the comments (again) on an article that it has nothing to do with, but the C8 is the first time a car of this type has excited me, and it…
You got me with the diesel Rams. And tell me, do they all have their towing mirrors out like they’re driving around with a couple big golf clubs hanging off the sides?
All I read was:
So you’re mad that your friends won’t do drugs and get blackout drunk with you anymore?
Have you ever been to Texas or an oil field in Texas? There are a fuck ton of Escalades in Texas, and people with oil money absolutely pull up on the field in an Escalade
yes
You’re assuming that the new Mustang wont be a gas powered version of the Mach-E crossover
Ah, you’re right. Let me rephrase: All I got out of 1st gear was that if the UAW didn’t exist, they wouldn’t have caused a $2.6 billion hit over a span of a mere 3 months.
well then I guess you’re just the most unlucky person and life isn’t fair for you, because I ride a touring bike over 750 lbs and weigh 215 lbs, and I regularly get over 12k miles out of my rear tires, and everybody I know that also rides a heavy touring bike also gets the same amount of mileage out of their tires as…
split that between two wheels though. even when you accelerate and the weight shifts, unless you’re doing a wheelie, you never have 100% of the weight on the back tire, and the more weight you’ve got between the wheels, the even less likely you are to get much above 60-70% weight distribution differential between the…
there have been plenty of people with heavy touring bikes getting more than 5k miles out of a motorcycle tire before 2008 lol it’s not like that was very long ago.
you’re either replacing your tires prematurely, doing burnouts or purposely spinning your tires, or riding with incorrect tire pressure. I also put down roughly 100lb/ft torque at the wheel, and still get 15k miles out of my rear tires
All I got out of 1st gear was that if the UAW didn’t exist, GM would have made a huge profit this year.
why would it bring 3x sticker price on BaT if it’s still available to buy new?
It still has enough space for 2 golf bags (which is a lot of space) in the rear hatch behind the engine. The only thing is doesn’t have is the space under the glass that the past corvettes have had, but it does have front storage space which is enough space for a couple dufflebags or pieces of luggage
Dear Salty, should I just kill myself if I don’t have an excess of expendable cash but still like to go out sometimes, so I have to order modestly? Will the staff get out a megaphone and call me out in front of everybody there for ordering something that is made available to customers anyways?! What is a normal person…
That’s all fair. There is definitely still a significant amount of engineering going on as they are two completely different vehicles with different usages. I was more talking about the general EV architechture and battery tech
What does the new Cadillac CT5 start at? I think that’s genuinely a lot of nice car for the money. Sure, the back doors/windows are a little wonky to look at, but the GM Alpha chassis is phenomenal and the interior is a massive step up in terms of design, materials, and quality from the outgoing CTS, which was fine.…
