GM has proven EV tech too. The Bolt, aside from subjective looks and interior, is a very good EV. And GM also had the Volt, which yes, it was a hybrid, but still electrification tech nonetheless. There’s nothing stopping GM from building this new Hummer on an upsized Bolt platform. They build the Bolt in Lake Orion,

I think mentioning range IS the thing that causes anxiety, not what the rage actually is. Like, when someone says a car has 250 miles of range, people think, “ThAtS nOt EnOuGh!” but in reality it is for them 95% of the time (not all people, but most). But leaving out the range all together just get’s people to think

Oh I absolutely agree with everything you’ve said. My thought is that it won’t overshadow the denali sub-brand of the Yukon. I’m thinking it’ll basically be the size of a Yukon (non-XL) but only 2 rows of seating, and electrification. I can see some overlap in pricing, but the Denali Yukon XL still being the top

Genuine question, what are Millennial riders going to be on when they reach retirement age? Think it’ll be sport bikes?

My guess, $65k starting, and going up to $100k

There are so many people already complaining about this thing. I fucking hate Jalopies. Just fucking wait until you actually see the thing. How the fuck are people already complaining about size, price, range, interior, design, etc without any of those fucking details being released yet. The car culture in the comment

all depends on where this vehicle will be slotted in the lineup. Maybe comparable to the Yukon in terms of “ruggedness” but only 2 rows of seating? Maybe?? My thinking is that it will be for people that want Yukon size, but only need seating for 5. so basically a “tougher” Acadia minus the back row

In my extensive travel experience I’ve found that people are far too concerned with their seating on a plane. You’ll get to your destination at the same time as every other seat, and everybody is just as miserable as you. Why do people obsess about which seat they get like they CANNOT POSSIBLY TOLERATE being in a

I would be willing to bet that the seats behind you were even worse off

It’s not a weird bell-housing bolt pattern. Every GM engine has the same bolt pattern as every GM transmission.

excpet it’s not a model name, it’s an option package RPO. Same as ZL1, ZR1, Z71, etc etc etc. It gets confusing when a lot of them are so similar, but in this case, it makes sense being that the Sierra also uses that same RPO code for it’s all terrain trim

You are correct that GM also sold both generations alongside one another, but not for as long as RAM. GM only did it for half a model year and anything left is just dealer stock. Going forward, all new GM trucks are the new generation.

I agree, they put lives in danger and these guys are dumb assholes. But let’s be fair about it. The police report doesn’t state that they were drunk. It said the PBT detected the presence of alcohol, not that they were over the legal limit. They would have gotten DUI/OWI on top of the reckless driving they already

whatever you say mouth breather

You’re killing me lol

lol which part?

Okay, go ahead and research it yourself. You commended one person for correcting another’s grammar, I’m just giving you what you asked for.

They called them “fatboy wheels” in the article because they’re a hommage to Harley’s Fatboy and the wheels that come on that model bike.

GM didn’t do this. It was Harley with a third party custom shop and they’ll be selling through select dealerships. GM had no say in the design

It’s likely just a rendering, so neither real nor photoshopped
