@Whitson Gordon: In my area, I think AT&T offers up to 4mbps speeds. With Comcast, I get around 20mbps. Not sure about the price difference though, since I have the bundle :/

@aek8: I know. I meant that he brought up the point that most of this safety stuff everywhere is sometimes ridiculous and people did survive without it, but as we've accrued more and more of these inventions (among many other things), lifespans have been climbing.

I would be angry about this ruling, but it was made by the courts. Y'know, the same guys who give warrants to investigators, so it's not like it really matters.

@whatne1wuddo: Amazon wants to suck you in to the Kindle ecosystem. They didn't make a kindle app for every platform because they felt like blowing some money on software development. Netflix is giving you a larger incentive to buy a subscription, and Google offers so many services (with ads all over the place),
