@paravorheim: That's unfortunate, the Xbox S controller is so great, PC software support is disappointing.

That makes a ferrari look like a Oldsmobile.

@sam-i-am: And other tech companies don't? Nobody knows anything about AMD's naming convention, Intel's is slightly easier to understand, Apple just renamed their mobile OS that has been out for years a few months ago. They're all guilt, Microsoft included. But I won't see what's so hard about "Windows Phone 7".

@Pook365: It's like solar (energy from light), but much more energy can be transferred this way.

@mruler360: I just cheked my Xbox - the door gets ridiculously close to the ports. Would not work.

@satyrica: It's actually kind of funny. The RIAA is constantly compaigning against copyright infringement and how it ruins the world when end-users do it for personal use. But here comes Apple, stealing other people's shit and selling it. Granted, they occasionally settle out of court when they get sued.

@d1gw33d: You make it sound like its unreasonable to have all that. the iPad has none of that. No USB, no HDMI, no camera, no choice in OS, no radio. Its somehow possible for the iPhone to have 2 cameras, but not the iPad? If Apple wanted to do their retina display thing in the iPad, they could easily have 1080p. And

@d1gw33d: I'm also a penguin. That's where your logic breaks down. You can't have it both ways.

@CJ Disaffected: Why? Do you enjoy mindlessly blowing your money on stupid crap because you can? It's not even like owning a $800 million dollar yacht which is a waste of money, but really cool. Using iPads solely as Wall clocks is like saying "I had $1000 I didn't want, look!" Not terrible impressive, just stupid.

@loyoyo: I don't think they're missing out on anything by not playing every consumer game that comes out. There are advantages, but games aren't necessary to train soldiers. There's all kinds of real-life training that can be done.

@moonshadowkati: Don't be so dramatic. The iPad doesn't have a TV tuner.

Apple seems to have a habit of doing whatever the hell they want when it comes to patented/copyrighted/trademarked things.

@presto117: I was making a joke about the pace of technology and the small mistake in the title that says 800GHz instead of MHz :/

Even with an 800GHz processor, it would still be obsolete in 2 years.

@Zubieta: That's a good point, but if they have some sort of SpeedStep technology, it would offer performance when needed, and battery when not.

@Ethd: I wouldn't be surprised if they underclock it to make it feel slower than the iPhone.

@notverycreative: You can even get a WD Live TV thing for like $70 and it will play anything and everything.
