I don’t remember for sure, I think a 661 Hitmonlee. Most of my best were hatched from eggs or evolved. I finally evolved a Vaporeon a day before they nerfed it. It’s still pretty powerful though. First attempt I named an Evee “Ranier” instead of Rainer” and got a Jolteon instead, lol.

That sucks, I’m level 21 and haven’t even seen one of those pop up, though I did evolve one.

The local park was still full of Pokemon players yesterday, hardly a total failure. I never cared about the tracking feature and just go from stop to stop collecting whatever appears. Just a fun excuse for some walking/jogging.

In my experience, even in areas with lots of Pokestops, they don’t provide enough balls to catch all the pokemon that appear. Even with razz berrys many Pokemon can take several balls to catch, and now that I’m level 20 I seem to get more potions than balls from pokestops. . .

I never cared about the tracking, the game is just a fun excuse to exercise and I get plenty of good Pokemon from eggs and random appearances. It was stupid for Niantic to shut down pokevision though.

I just evolved my first Vaporeon a day before the update. :-( On the bright side gyms near me are actually being guarded by a variety of Pokemon now, instead of mostly Vaporeons.
