is it just me or did anyone else recognize the irony in a talent show being hosted by someone with ZERO talent?

The real issue here isn’t the joke he made, it’s that when Howard Stern stirred the pot and asked “what if the network was offended” he threatened to sue his employer on the basis of racism.

Also? Giving birth on the way to the hospital implies, you know, that someone believed you and took you to the hospital.

Yeah except the woman had trouble for five days. That’s like the taxi ride taking... five days and that’s why the baby is born in it.

She was in labor for five days. That seems like a lot more notice that a baby is coming than the woman who gives birth in a taxi gets.

She has no business being in jail for that kind of offence. Christ.

Another thing lost in this whole shit sandwich story is the $10K bail for driving on a suspended license. Granted, I do not know all circumstances, but in what world is this an appropriate amount?

And such a violent criminal, driving on a suspended license while poor. Monster!

Just because someone is not wired exactly the same as you (or exactly like you ;) ) does not mean they have some pathology. If they need mental health help, I can think of several better places to get it than a priest, since statistically they’re likely to get raped if they’re of a certain age and gender.

I think the point that it can be exhausting is a fair one especially for people in helping professions. Of course kindness and empathy aren’t mutually exclusive either.

You can feel kindness and compassion without understanding ohers. I think empathy is far better, it extends our universe and enables us to share and learn from others.
