Ten percent of Icelanders have a book published. The rest just work out and lift, or are in Sigur Rós I assume.

This might actually give me an excuse to sit down and watch an episode of Regular Show, then.

Well, that's my weekend ruined…

Oh no, not at all. It's actually Baratheon.

So while life is imitating art so closely, does this mean that a) we can just go ahead and rename Europe to Westeros and b) I should start worrying about all of my loved ones?

Meanwhile, Bruce Campbell will guest star on the Adventure Time Hallowe'en Special, teaming up with Jake and Finn to save the Land of Ooo from an army of Deadites. Mathematical!

Reporting Gene Simmons being an asshole is as newsworthy as reporting that Morrisey has said something awfully innapropriate relating to vegetarianism. It's just par for the course, guys.

The Fear Factory track is Shock, not Shout, but easy to confuse as I remember nu-metal also-rans Disturbed covered the Tears for Fears classic back in the day too.
Of course, this being nu-metal, what I should really do is rant incoherrantly and chuck some homophobic slurs your way. Er, bruh.

I'm skeptical that this is legit. Surely one game isn't capable of handling so much brooding! But if it's any good then I'll have one more reason to pick up a PS4 (not that I need one, since I've already seen clips for Alien: Isolation.)

Disagree with Freeman. His "Shoot this motherfucker!" line in Wanted is one of the films few redeeming features.

Much like the films of Will Ferrell, I'll still watch/listen to stuff with these guys in even though they've past their peak. I know it's stupid humour but goddamn it if I don't get a few cheap laughs out of it all the same.

Electric Wizard have leaked the first track off their new album due out this year so in like 2 weeks time it'll be that, but for now my personal favourite of the year has to be the latest Weird Al Yankovick polka - "NOW That's What I Call Polka!"

Make no mistake, Scanners really is the Michael Ironside Show.
Is it one of Cronenburg's best films? Of course not, but it's one of his most fun, and I absolutley adore it.

Having read the first book I have to say it has some interesting concepts (a certain older character with an interesting history looks pretty promising iirc) so I'll check this out. Not expecting a classic series, just hoping it's better than True Blood and stuff.

Or at the very least after Night of the Living Planet of the Apes.

This doesn't explain why there isn't a big screen adaption of "Stop The Planet Of The Apes, I Want To Get Off!: The Musical" yet. Someone please milk that cashcow.

I would watch the shit out of that.
Then fling that shit at someone, because apes.

"SUAREZ used BITE!"

Storm juuust about edges Failure when it comes to Assemblage 23 for me.

Yeah Empires by VNV and Everybody Hates You by Combichrist were my two gateway albums into industrial and electronic music so a lot of love for both of those albums.
