It’s really scary here in LA. I used to hand out index cards with all the shelters and places they could get free meals and rides but had to stop because of being threatened. Everyone would be better off they just gave to the shelters and activist groups trying to help.

I work in the area and the homeless population seems as if it has just exploded around there. There’s basically an encampment on Vine in evenings now. I also notice that more seem to be suffering pretty extreme mental illness and who knows what street drugs. The homeless situation here is pretty dire.
