I guess the White House has a move when President Douchey Von ShitBag is in a meeting, and that is to have his daughter Cersei Lannister Ivanka Trump stroll into the meeting like she doesn’t know that a meeting is happening so that everyone in the meeting can play nice.

I have to use a cane occasionally to help relieve stress on a calf injury, so it’s not like I need it to actually support me when I stand or walk.  And this is not, in fact, an unusual use for a cane. (Though it appears Mr. Wingate actually needed it, since he needed a fucking stool to climb in the paddy wagon.)

I just saw that! It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest - I didn’t dig too deep into that person’s profile.

Once upon a time, Gap did classic American casual separates. Needed a place where you could go and find a basic pair of straight-leg or boot cut jeans, a t-shirt, and a sweater? You headed to The Gap. It wasn’t super cheap, but it wasn’t super-expensive, and there was plenty of quality in the construction.

One of my relatives is an aging Baby Boomer hippie, and even though she’s lived in Florida for years, she grossly miscalculated her ability to get a hotel room within a distance she can drive. (Basically, she should have booked, you know, right away instead of waiting.) So right now, she’s going to hunker down with a

Occasionally, I’ve been able to catch the British versions of his cooking shows, and it’s like night-and-day with his American Hell’s Kitchen persona. He’s really patient, his food looks fabulous, and he takes so much care to explain what he’s doing.

Being the Twin Cities, of COURSE this has been one of the responses. Because of the cross-town rivalry, I honestly cannot tell if this is supposed to be satirical or not. All I know is on the related FB post - which I can’t seem to link to for some reason - people feel STRONGLY about this.

Fellow STEM-MENSA-Girl rooting for you in this tiny little corner of the Internet over here, Miss Hudson.

Off-topic, but apologies - no group/submission e-mail here and I’m not on Twitter.

There’s some sort of snarky BlueLivesMatter comment here...but I just can’t find it right now.

This was in respect to story items that have not been addressed in the published books, so the Red Wedding would not be a part of that discussion.

I’m reading this, and I’m remembering that after last season’s “The Door”, there was an interview with D&D. Where they discussed that GRRM had told them there were three “holy shit!” moments that were in the books that he thought were necessary to bring to the show.
