I worked at a company years ago where there was an “all-employees” group. When people started demanding “remove me from this distro”, it was pointed out that the only way to be excluded was to be removed from their employment, and they were asked if they still want to be removed.

I’ve advocated for years that political debates should be enforced such that if a candidate refuses to answere the question, & veers off on a tangent, his mike should be cutoff & the rest of the time granted to opponents (shock collars or trap doors would be nice, but even less likely to be accepted).
