It’s been known for a while that the first Assassin’s Creed game started as a new Prince of Persia game, that was then turned into its own IP. The licensing issue mentioned above is probably the main reason why they decided to make it a new IP instead a of another PoP game.

I mean it’s still the consumer choice to like and buy their product.

If I watch a movie and I don’t like the story, I’m not going and go buy the DVD after.

It not about being spoiled that people are not buying, it’s about the actual story. Naughty Dog took a drastic turn in the development of some characters which is really not pleasing the fan of the first game.

All I can say is, if you love your island, don’t go browse Animal Crossing subreddit because there will be tons of other people far better than you at beautifying their island XD

Every AC game has had a big CGI trailer. It’s kind of a trope now for Ubisoft to do a CGI trailer to show the setting and fans are always excited for it.

Like they could have done a lot more but it literally looks like they took a CSGO map and just put their shader on it.

But gameplay looks fun. The Overwatch/Counter-Strike mix is pretty interesting actually!
