Hey! You said, Twitler! And Trumpanzees! Wow you are so incisive!

It is almost certainly correct that the current strength of the economy is probably his *best* argument for re-election, and that if the election were to come down to a referendum on his handling of the economy, which is what presidential elections involving an incumbent typically are, he would win, and win rather

I’m not. I’m peeing in my pants because Pelosi is playing pick-up-sticks.

How long for someone to come on and claim that this clusterfuck was masterful politicking by Nancy Pelosi to get Dems unified?

For solar inflationary expansion to render this all moot so she doesn’t need to take a forceful stand, apparently.

That IS what happened. We all saw it. It was reported on ad nauseum by literally all the news outlets. That’s exactly what happened. She told the progressive reps to shut up on twitter and get in line, and Trump chimed in supporting her, before taking it to his extreme.

Pelosi clarified that the House resolution was not intended to call Trump racist, but merely to call his tweets racist.

You win everything. Of course they completely sidetracked him and made him boring so they could graft his personality onto Thor to make him popular in the comics and now in the movies. Which is... kind of brilliant.

Clearly you never read Kirby/Lee’s Thor comics when Hercules was in them or much of the seminal Walt Simonson stuff. Plenty of humor, plenty of surreal humor. You should look them up. They’re among the best Thor stuff. Taika’s fits beautifully.

You saved me from having to say the first part, although my love of Kirby Thor and Taika Waititi made it so that I expected Thor 3 to be far superior to GotG (for my tastes). And it was. This is great news.

You keep using this utterly meaningless term “performance,” as if it means something to the public. What means something is how lives are going, and by that metric things are failing badly. This is obvious and easy to understand. I don’t know at this point if you can’t understand it or choose to keep ignoring it, but

You said:

I would say that the reason he’s not getting credit for a great economy is that we don’t actually have a great economy when measured in respect to people’s actual lives as opposed to metrics that aren’t reflecting that reality.

Thanks, Socrates. Perhaps you could share some of your timeless wisdom with those concentration camp-enablers and public healthcare-opposers in the Democratic leadership.

Yeah, good luck with that attempt.

You’re correct that many metrics that get showcased make this claim, but those metrics are not related to the reality of most people’s lives. They are actually obfuscating the real effect.

So... you keep telling people who are criticizing these Democrats right now. Why? It’s not time.

There is a reason he has one of the best economies in recent memory
