It happens to me too often for comfort. ;)

A hugely entertaining read that is legitimately thought-provoking. Thanks, Nate. You’re a hell of a writer.

I find those all meaningful change as well. Hugely so. If my phrasing suggested otherwise, I apologize and correct that impression. If he decides to back those, awesome. I’m not sure how I’d believe he’d actually fight like Hell for them after he was actually elected, but it would definitely be a start.

I’d support fictional Dude over real Beto. At least I would have before he started shilling corporate beer in commercials.

Amen to that. I love Bernie, and I am inspired to Hell and back by the too-young-to-run-for-President freshmen Representatives, but Stacey Abrams became my political hero last year with her incredible campaign, and beyond-incredible after-campaign fight.

Right. So far there’s no reason to believe he’s anything but an attempt to head off meaningful change. Scam artist.

I’m kind of terrified of contributing to a meme that makes him warm, fuzzy and appealing to people even though it’s meant as a criticism, but there’s just no stopping mass insanity so what the Hell.

I like Elizabeth Warren quite a bit, and that’s because she has actually policies and plans. They may not go left enough to be my favorites, but for a lot of reasons I’d happily support her if she becomes the Democratic candidate (which seems unlikely). I’d have to really hold my nose to vote for a lot of the

I spent only a half year in Japan but had a half dozen different discussions with different Japanese folks in different parts of the country who each echoed OC’s comments that admitting to mental health issues is major stigma and admitting to use of anti-depressants even more so to an extent that really effects

And can we quit the “too cozy with Boehner” shit?

Are you for serious?

Nobody has losing down pat like the DNC, the DCCC and establishment Congressional Democrats. If things are looking up you can be sure they’ll go out of their way to turn that smile upside down.

In no particular order, I thought Bening as Mar-vell was a terrific idea, the Skrulls twist threw me and I kept expecting a heel turn until the credits ended, but I’m ok with it. I most thought the soundtrack was pretty spot-on and i thought the various references were all good. Unlike Aquaman, which I watched last

I really needed that laugh. Thank you.

I hear what you’re saying. I personally don’t feel I need a long-established prior relationship as contrast to make this new reality interesting to me. I saw enough last season both before Culber’s murder and then in the mycelial network to believe that there was a loving and mutually supportive relationship. As of

Rep. Omar is completely correct in her assessment regardless of whether that’s popular or unpopular to point out. This is the undercurrent of everything that is at stake. Simply going back to the smiling face of unrestrained capitalism and empire is not the answer. Electing establishment-defending figures to the

Putting aside the obvious reasons of corruption and class warfare, how has the Taft-Hartley Act never been majorly challenged on grounds of constitutionality in terms of free speech and the right to assemble? It seems far more deserving then Citizens United, for example.

Again, I recognize the gross anti-labor
