Yeah, on top of everything else it wasn’t even the despicable secret masters of the universe but two groups of teens of color from clearly disadvantaged background that he just unloaded in with the machine guns and the macho scream. Way to ruin the whole God-damned thing. Good riddance to that show.

I’m with you. As much as I really liked most of the season, I found the ending really disappointing in how quickly and shallowly it was wrapped up. I found the Punisher just becoming the lowest common denominator version of himself at the end inexplicably out of the blue given everything that had come before and sad.

And perhaps you could consider that retelling an emotionally shallow story over and over and over again instead of occasionally trying something more might be a waste of time, effort and grey matter. To each their own.
