That is an excellent description. Thanks for the clarification. For what it’s worth, I have a similar response.

(the book is too dreamlike/abstract anyway).

That’s true. I was looking at this one as compared with the 90 wagon, and I realized that one has that crease only somehow it seems less pronounced. And to me at least, the 90 looks significantly better because of that.

Here’s what would have me changing my pants...at the end of Avengers 4, at the end of some crazy battle where we’re made to think the Avengers have won, it is suddenly revealed at the most painful moment that this is all an illusion of the sadistic Thanos, who is left standing with the Infinity Gauntlet on. He

Agreed, but my first thought looking at this was, “God damn it, why does every car in the world now have to have those stupid creases along the side?” I think it detracts hugely from this design.

For me even more than mutants I hope for the FF, Doom, Galactus and Surfer. Then go with the ‘60s period piece origin that ends with them choosing something heroic that does in fact extract or erase them from the MCU reality until the conclusion of Infinity War brings them back in. That’s my hope. You can even fudge

Came for this.

Yeah, I’d actually much prefer Ms. Marvel to Captain Marvel. I have a feeling that we’ll see Kamala after Avenger 4 shatters the Marvel universe. Maybe we even glimpse her in one of these next two.

A kudo for this accurate, double-edged appraisal.

Double Negative, a VFX studio that’s helped out on movies like Blade Runner 2049 and Justice League

Mine was stealing copies of Heavy Metal from the local drug store magazine rack when I was a kid, though I’d leave cash in its place. They wouldn’t sell it to kids.

What was Wallace thinking sending Gromit on that early?

I really don’t understand why nobody feels able to admit when they’re wrong anymore. It’s actually a lot less embarrassing and a lot more helpful than doubling-down on being wrong.

FTW

The thought doesn’t exactly offend me, but if Fox is trying to sell these properties off to Disney, I’m thinking that Disney (and Kevin Feige and Marvel) will have a bit of say whether this actually goes forward or not.

Considering only 54% of the electorate voted in the election, I would say your statistic is way off. Realistically it was something much closer to 27% of eligible white women who voted for Trump, which falls much more in line with the cross-gender and cross-cultural hardwired percentage of humanity that always

I only hope they continue to steer it as mostly awesomely as they have this season. Best ST so far (especially considering the first season curse) by a wide margin.

They’re not supposed to be black, they’re supposed to be aliens. And for the very first time in any Star Trek, they actually come across as Aliens instead of angry/autistic humans.

“No! How dare you have stories you like that aren’t carbon copies of stories I like! How selfish of you! You are ruining my childhood! YOU ARE RUINING MY LIFE!”

I am not exaggerating when I say that I and a half dozen close friends who all grew up on reruns of TOS and then followed NG, DS9 and a few of us (not me) followed Voyager and at least one of them watched Enterprise all feel it’s the best Star Trek ever. Take that for whatever it’s worth.
