No, definitely not. I rewatched GoGII again the other night, and I was amazed at how much better the humor is in Thor overall. It’s a different style that feels looser and much less contrived I’m guessing because of how Waititi uses improvisation for his scenes.

Also Thor: Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi. I think there’s quite a bit of evidence against your argument.

Clearly a lot of people disagree, but I loved Rian Johnson’s big budget film. And I think Taika Waititi slammed a Grand Slam with his jump in budget. So for me Ridley Scott is immensely wrong. And he hasn’t made a good film in forever. I think he’d be a lot better off worrying much more about that.

Honestly I’d go see that before I’d see another Ridley Scott film.

Thanks for making sure I didn’t have to post this.

Or that it ends up in a different dimension or that it comes from a different dimension in the first place. We just don’t know yet.

I think we have already been seeing that happening, and frankly that’s one of the reasons I like the show so much already, because the character growth feels very earned and its coming through good writing and acting.

And you’re completely missing both that in war people often act shitty AND that in all the old Trek shows there were always villainous officers all the way up to Admiral. This fact has been repeated ad nauseum but the people who keep ragging on the fact that there’s a villainous captain her keep ignoring it because it

I’dnever considered that, but it’s totally possible.

Well-played.

I’m making circular motions with my index finger pointed at my temple at you.

Not intelligence, you just have to care about quality of story, writing, acting, and design more than delusional fanboy fixations.

Wake up to reality, it’s always calling.

Man, I’ve been watching ST since original series reruns in the early 70s as a tiny tot thanks to my mom’s love of it. I would happily play as either Kirk or Spock during commercial breaks. I watched Next Generation and DS9, though I thought Voyager and the one after were crap. I think The Motion Picture and Wrath of

I definitely don’t mind if someone’s opinion differs, but I certainly cannot respect that DC/CW shows get so much repeated love for featuring bright but accurate costumes despite such poor writing and mind-numbingly stupid emotional beats used for “drama” while the main reason used to slag STD is that “it’s not Star

Iron Fist wasn’t remotely as bad a show as many would make it out to be for a variety of reasons, and in fact it was better in some ways than much of the rest of Marvel/Netflix (a whooooole lot of boring-ass Luke Cage during a very extended “middle” section, I’m looking at you after you got me hot and bothered with

He’s a terrific character among several of the best Star Trek characters yet. It’s an awesome show, but some people have been waaay invested in hating this one for an awfully long time, so what’re you going to do.

I choose here to say that anyone who doesn’t count Joanna Lumley as a Doctor automatically invalidates themselves from discussions of Doctor Who because they clearly know nothing of substance!

I think that would make a great cover. ;)

No! I actually dropped down here just to say how great I think this cover design is. Superb.
