It’s all coming together, in a completely nauseating way.

That’s an ingenious way to consider it. Ledger’s Joker is dead (or otherwise absent as you say), so the Harley Quinn is having her relationship with a memory. I could definitely buy that. I think a part of what would make it work is that Harley’s related flashbacks would have to be every bit as untrustworthy as the

Oh no. NO. Please, no. I was coming on here to lustily sing his praises. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Luthor sux!

Yeah, I like the young Nova, and I think the chemistry between him and Ryder is actually pretty great.

Thanks for the compliment, though I don’t have the skills to write a film.

Good to know. Thanks. I think there are still some things about him and some of his film work that feel problematic to me, but I appreciate that he did this.

I have read her in Injustice a couple of times but I can’t say I was into it. She feels like a very different character to me than Dini’s, and not as a result of any kind of organic evolution but more as if she’s been shoehorned into a characterization that was decided for her.

And while YMMV (and maybe a lot of people’s), is like to see Noh-varr with the other Marvels. Still, fun pic.

Is that recent?

I almost can’t imagine it. I feel like Ledger’s Joker is too scary, too much like an early take on the Joker, that he can’t even fake a relationship with someone else long enough to develop any kind of relationship. The chaos thing, I suppose. I don’t think Harley would survive a full movie with his Joker, and I also

Here’s why I think the SS Joker sucks: like the Donald, he REEKS of desperation to be taken seriously. The Joker isn’t desperate. He doesn’t have to wear bling and grills and tattoos that scream he’s crazy to scare the shit out of people with his craziness. This is my problem with so many characters on television

Speaking truth to power. Superpower.

Also that video is horrible.

Yeah. As a wee-one in the mid ‘70s I was getting introduced to Ditko/Lee Spider-Man and Doctor Strange and Kirby/Lee Thor, Cap, FF and Hulk thanks to these things (also Bring on the Bad Guys!). I have no idea if in 2017 this will make some kind of equivalent difference, but it sounds good to me.

Agreed about his alcoholism, and I don’t hold his illness against him. I’m glad for him that he got help. But I don’t believe he has ever gone back on his very publically-stated religious beliefs towards homosexuals and Jews which, again, come out in his work like Passion. He’s welcome to his personal beliefs. He’s

That very well could be. I’ll take your word for it that there’s more to support that in the footage I haven’t seen. If that’s the case I have to wonder why they wouldn’t put something so important in. Especially since it actually gives Clark Kent some much-needed development.

Look, I’m not telling you or anyone else how they have to respond to Gibson or anybody else. Whether you should like his work or not. That’s up to you. But the way I see it, if someone does not acknowledge the pain they caused through shitty behavior (and for me personally that includes what he has put forward in his

I really didn’t get that from the movie I saw. If there’s more footage that makes that case, well... it wasn’t in the movie so I don’t think it supports the argument that the scene made sense in the movie.
