Would read a forced Xavier vasectomy story.

No way, man! Kid Omega ftw. Although that’s more for the character. I hadn’t realized he became so powerful.

Not many official Omega mutants exist—the brief list includes the likes of Psylocke

That’s a good point about the change in Cage and what that might mean for the dynamics of his friendship with Danny. I think I need to drop any expectations of it mimicking the comics.

Somewhere I saw an image somebody made with Donnie Yen as Lei-Kung. If somehow episode 8 revealed that (or any episode, for that matter) I’d pretty much mess myself.

I agree. First, in general: not all the heroes can be chewing-glass intense. It just doesn’t work. Someone who grew up in a monastic life, even one centered largely around martial arts, should be more centered and gentle than average, not less. And with Danny in particular, he has largely been presented as a much more

I kind of get the feeling from his skin and his weird, intense stare at someone off-camera that he’s thirsting less for alcohol and more for straight-up blood. Gary Oldman’s Dracula looked healthier. And more wholesome.

I love it almost as much as I love Drive itself, which is saying a whole hell of a lot.

Actually I forgot completely about the character list and synopsis page at the beginning of so many comics (especially Marvel) these days. Even when I pick up a new (to me) comic, those tend to do it for me.

That is... well, actually, that is probably the best possible argument for that point possible.

Is it possible that 2017 may have some sunshine after all? Some kind of balling sunshine? Please?

I suggest using the internet to catch yourself up for free. And that can simply mean wikipedia or a judicious googleing of comics reviews. Or it can mean other things.

To me that is writing for kids and/or the challenged. If you constantly have to be regurgitating names and base characteristics every damned 30 pages, you have garbage writing.

If every comic had to be written like that there would be almost no comics I’d want to read. I really don’t want to still be reading ‘60s and ‘70s Stan Lee comics as my main diet.

Or if we want to continue with a companion that balances out the genders...

Actually... intriguing. But how does one look at him now that he’s played Ramsay Bolton? It’s hard not to see evil.

Right?

There’s pretty much only one casting choice that’s going to get me to start watching Who again. And I mean Steven Toast playing the Doctor, not Matt Berry.

I think the first generation of the new Mini was more that middle ground you were talking about. It’s smaller, svelter than the current incarnation. I’m trying to remember when it billed up but it was in the late 2000s. Suddenly it became a larger, fatter and uglier car.
