“warning: he really hates toys”

Never mind. Ignore.

For the love of God, why, Jemaine? Why!? Stay out of anything Fox and/or X-men related. Don’t get dragged down!

Giffen/Rude?! SOLD!!!

Yeah, everything I was going to suggest just went out the window. You win.

In one.

Yesss to you, sir.

I accept the logistical argument, but I think it goes deeper.

I respect that, but I personally don’t agree with it. Given the time-frame they had to operate under, and that everything they tried either failed or was a one-shot deal (Infinity Gauntlet), the only realistic take was for those guys who were kings (who Hickman showed repeatedly to be people who had to live up to the

I must have reread that story like five times after I had both issues. Chills. Also completely lays to rest any question over T’challa vs. Bruce Wayne.

You mean Jason Aaron’s? He did the two-issue Black Panther/Secret Invasion story. Truly scary bad-ass.

Well they sure as hell weren’t considered African-American, so what’s your point?

While I love the Kirby run for it’s dynamic, bad-ass art and insane concepts and characters, as Evan mentioned it’s hard to read by 2016 standards. And while like many I love the Priest series and its humor and pathos, and feel it is one of Marvel’s most important series ever (even from my cracker-ass perspective and

Yeah, I have to say that original Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider and jacket and motorcycle SO much cooler than X-treme X-Force era Danny Ketch incarnation. He’s a carnie stuntman on a chopper who made a deal with the Devil. Can’t be beat. Have Johnny start picking up the others over the seasons. And the burn-out Ghost Rider

Skye is such a horrible version of the Daisy Johnson character. That alone makes it hard for me to watch Agents.

Thank you for finding the proper words to describe LoT, and for explaining what actually makes a series good. There are no live-action DC tv shows that can match the quality of Daredevil’s writing, acting and direction. Same for Jessica Jones. I think maybe Agents of SHIELD and the rest are a more accurate comparison.

Yeah, but the comic was so much better told a story.

Since the day I read The Death of Captain Marvel and bawled my 13-year old eyes out, I have both appreciated and hated that he hasn’t been brought back.

Testify. What a truly AWESOME character Daisy is in Secret Warriors in other place in the comics, and what a horrible character on TV. The difference is in writing and acting. AoS feels like a DC television show, and I don’t say that by way of praise. I definitely don’t want the cheese that is Agents of SHIELD
