You might be right. Opera’s VPN is actually just a web proxy server, so I don’t think it actually costs them anything. However, I hadn’t realized that Opera was sold to a Chinese consortium last year, so I retract my recommendation.

That just means you have to be careful when choosing a VPN. For some ad-supported “free” VPN’s, the old adage applies, if you are not paying for it, you’re not the customer; you’re the product.
I think she’s General Grievous.
Are you referring to congressional authorization for the use use of military force, i.e. declaration of war through the War Powers Clause? It was already watered down subverted under numerous administrations, both GOP and Dem.
That just adds to it’s value as a “wag the dog” political exercise. He’s doing this in large part to distract from the Russia investigation, legislative agenda failures, White House scuttlebut, and sagging poll numbers. The bigger the misdirection, the better.
I believe most of them arrive on rainbow-colored visas from Queeristan.
Gerrymandering only affects House congressional elections, it’s defining districts to include/exclude certain voting populations..
Winning those key states wasn’t just luck. It wouldn’t have been possible without voter suppression. ID laws and voter caging like Crosscheck resulted in hundreds of thousands of Dem voters being purged from the rolls.
Weird seeing the GOP forced to defend the federal programs as providing important functions in civil society and value for taxpayers, when they have spent the last eight years demonizing the federal government. Do you mean to tell me that most of the “government is broken” rhetoric was just posturing for the ignorant…
Thanks for the link. I wouldn’t be surprised if they use the fact that it’s complicated to try and push for eliminating public sector unions, that has long been a dream of the GOP.
I’d like to see some analysis of the number of federal jobs these kinds of cuts represent. The EPA alone has 17,000 employees, so that could be as many as 5,400 jobs eliminated, based on the proposed $2.6 billion in cuts to the agency.
Here’s video of Sessions lying under oath, or as it’s more commonly known, perjuring himself.
I know I should listen to this (don’t underestimate the opposition, know your enemy and all that) but I just can’t, and no amount of alcohol could make it tolerable. I’ll have to rely on others who have less of a gag reflex to facile lies to report on what came out of this buffoon’s mouth.
Also, this happened recently. Apparently we’ve already moved beyond “first they came for the Muslims” and are already on to “then they came for the gays.”
The top photo, especially. I’m having acid-wash flashbacks.
Don’t worry, Trump’s infrastructure privatization plan will insure that it will be rebuilt quickly, you’ll have to pay a fee to use it from now on, though.
Exactly. This is idiotic from a public safety and health standpoint. We don’t want undocumented immigrants afraid of interactions with police, public health officials, social workers or school representatives for fear of being reported to ICE because it leads to negative social outcomes for all of us.
Trump is going to try to dig up an actual Pinkerton from the grave to crack some union skulls.
That’s a tired argument. Primary voters have different motivations that those in the general, strategic voting played a huge role. Many people during the primary said, “I like Sanders, I just think Hillary is more electable.” That turned out to be an incorrect assessment, but you can’t blame people for thinking that.…
