Also poor planning. Donaldson used up his strategic banana reserves in the first four sets.

Exactly this.
“and I’ve never seen a car that could improve its track performance with an over-the-air update.”
Man, that guy banging his wife had a pretty shitty day.
It’s good that they fixed it, and were able to fix it.
Since Tesla is only making RWD Model 3s at the moment, friction brakes will be doing most of the work. Aggressive regen in a RWD car would be hazardous, and is why the Bolt and Leaf have stronger regen than the Model 3.
It was the ABS, though - the update was to ABS firmware. Here’s the thing, though - we’ve had ABS for a looong time. ABS is one of those things Tesla should be buying from and getting dialed by one of the big suppliers, who’ve been doing it for a long time. It’s possible that other car makers run into that sort of…
Other are just calling it “recalls”. I like my recalls to be done over the air, honestly, so I’m not wasting a day going to the garage so they can perform a “software update” with a laptop.
Ever heard of “never buy the first year of a new model”?
Well considering it WAS the ABS that was adjusted, it makes perfect sense. It’s like they didn’t calibrate it properly in the first place.
“We’ll fix it with a firmware update” is a hell of a way to make up for rushing things out the door before they’re ready. I like my car to be tested and finished before it’s sold to the public.
I’m glad to see other people sharing my (possibly irrational but I don’t really think so) hatred of Maroon 5.
Yes? I was agreeing, adding corroborating references, adding detail about why it’s bad (which was missing from the article), and preemptively responding to the points that were going to come up in the comments.
And? Are you suggesting that gang members are not deserving of human rights?
I like animals. Animals aren’t capable of atrocities or premeditated executions or even war crimes. Those are uniquely human characteristics. MS-13 members are human.
My dude in the hat on the bottom right just realized this meetup is not about what he thought it was about.
In general, we agree that humans have certain intrinsic rights. Most countries codify those rights, and there are several international agreements outlining what we generally agree on as human rights.
But remember that, if we want to win these people over to progressive causes, we need to be understanding and reason with them and can’t just write them off as despicable individuals with no redeeming values.
Plus they were on Ambien, and it was just after Memorial Day.
“I have to listen to Pelosi and these people saying, ‘We have to respect them. They’re human beings.’ They’re not human beings. They’re not human beings.”
