I think where they could miss Kyrie is in situations where a really tough and organized defensive team forces them into late clock situations, where his shot-making is almost indefensible. They might be better defensively without him, but their relatively unspectacular offense could sure benefit from his…

I, too, own a Reatta and multiple computers. ;) But I inherited the Reatta from my Grandparents. And it. Is. Mint. under 25k miles, Red on Tan convertible/leather. No ugly black bumper trim like a lot of them had. . Garage kept and meticulously maintained! It’s the car I took my first girlfriend to prom in. And yeah,…
I’m kind of wondering why Avenatti is basically fighting this out on TV
I think you will find that if you slow down a little and increase the space in front your visibility will improve.
This thread is an epic battle between Jalops admonishing each other for following too close, and Jalops admonishing each other for buying big SUVs. Amazing.
No one actually needs an SUV, if you need to haul stuff, get a minivan. The fact that no one is buying sedans anymore is really disheartening. Owning some big ass SUV is selfish and SO American.
Know that I would give you all the remaining stars I have if I could. SUVs are a pestilence of conspicuous consumption.
re: ‘The only thing astounding in all of this, is that most Americans are unaware of how things operate & Avenatti is not painting a true & proper picture of things. Avenatti’S selective ‘facts’are what I find amazing.”
Your post is apropos of nothing.
I won’t see you wave, unless you install a big-screen teevee on the Mount Rushmore-sized truck butt of your crappy truck. All I’ll see is an unhandsome vast expanse of plastic and painted sheet metal. I’ll bet you bought that thing new, too.
I live in San Antonio and DD a NB Miata so I get your point. But it’s not just SUV’s but also pickups and even crossovers that are all becoming more and more massive to the point of cartoonish. I rented a Nissan Frontier a couple months back to move some stuff and it was like driving a small apartment complex and the…
I can almost understand these. A lot of the time, the sound insulation on new cars is so good that the occupants actually don’t hear the intake/exhaust much, so it needs to be added back in. This is what happens when the populace wants both a quiet ride, and performance.
So two more can hop in?
SUVs of course. The fact that they’re terrible gas-guzzling dangerous garbage, while it is the reason why I wouldn’t want to own one, is not my objection to somebody crazy enough to want a crappy car like that having one for himself.
This is a fantastic and heartbreaking writeup. Thank you, Emma.
That’s because his job isn’t to make basketball entertaining. That’s the league’s job. His job is to win. Drawing fouls is very advantageous because it’s very efficient - whether it’s a shooting foul or not; either he gets more time for a shot and keeps the other team’s time of possession lower, or he gets the…
I agree.
