This will be the first real test of whether the Raiders will have the same approach to domestic violence that they had under Al. As a fan I hope they dump Brown...

I had this chat when my family moved into our home... We do not, under any circumstances other than being directly threatened with a weapon, call the cops on any of our neighbors. Noise issues, fights over property, whatever little small issues, are *not* justifiable reasons. Nothing has come up but if it does, knock…
I’d rather have the new Vette new but one of these after depreciation would be awesome. Do a full engine out rebuild with upgraded internals, big turbo, put on a BFW and some upgraded wheels/tires and one of these would look great and smoke everything F/R on the road.
Only worth using then. Any fair caught ball is going to be at long field goal range.
And..... It's gone. I was looking for one of these for a while, the feedback that I'd heard from people exposed to them was they were great for their era but aren't a precise instrument on tarmac and pale in comparison to the WRX, so money is better spent there. A DCM might be the best *waste* of said money on an AWD…
I wonder if Fox News loses whatever semblance of legitimacy after this. I wonder how many people would continue to watch it nonstop if they get wiped out in the next election and the channel becomes universally derided as the propoganda network it is...
V8 wagons are great, but unfortunately that trend started around the time the malaise era started so there aren't many great options that aren't 50yo. There's always the Mercs and Magnum for modern vehicles I suppose. I'd love to get a Magnum 5.7 RWD and swap in a manual, chip it with some minor mods and have a great…
Those were good off-road for the time, and that’s the big valid use for an SUV, bad conditions and towing. No hate on that, but my brother in law driving a QX60 because he has a baby... Not really valid. Much smaller cars can baby well and provide a lot of advantages.
Fair point, if you are open to classic a Delica is both mini, a van, and 4wd...
Bodega released an EP made up of their recent singles and a few additional songs, it’s good but was already mostly out there already.
Yeah there’s absolutely a use case for them, they’re just not necessary for family duty for 90% of the people buying them. Outbacks/Legacys with snow tires are popular in mountainous regions for a reason. When I had my Xterra (towing alot at time and it was $3k) I was the only one in my neighborhood that could drive…
Me too! I actually found Gawker that way -- they regularly linked to Splinter and Jezebel among other GMG sites.
SUVs are truly a solution in search of a problem in this case. We had a V30 Camry wagon in my family growing up, plenty of legroom, no problems with entering/exiting, huge cargo area, low curb weight and good mileage for the era from a nice peppy V6. Unfortunately the modern day sedans have gotten so huge to compete…
I’m in the same boat. Minivans are sweet. Tons of space, electronics, decent mileage, models with AWD and a v6, tiny work vans that can get a 350HP RS swap, awesome Kei vans from Japan with more passenger volume. than a Suburban with 60hp... Vans are sweet. It’s clearly the parents that are lame, not vans...
As far as still getting some rational coverage of some of the craziness going on daily, I like the fark.com politics aggregation section.
I do appreciate that in the thread equivalent of getting ratio’d, Tomato's only post on this thread has zero likes or responses. At least the previous incarnations had some vague connection to tomatoes in the naming nomenclature.
I was waiting for this to happen. Most of my favorite writers moved on but I will miss the commenters, God forbid I might even miss the trolls...
I specifically mentioned the Challenger for a reason... It shares the same heavy platform as the Charger therefore Dodge's pony car will always lag behind the others. Sure Dodge wins in the muscle sedan category by default, though I'd personally rather have a CTS/ATS V myself if we're counting Caddy with Chevy.
E30 is a great answer (stop driving up the prices I want one!) but RX7 is the right answer. 80s models go for less than 2.5K, rebuilt motors are less than $2k, lots of aftermarket support for more power or better handling for AutoX, easy to work on, perfect 80s autocross choice.
