From our recent moves I think Mayock may be having a good impact... We’ll see if it lasts. Gruden had a good thing going with Allen as the GM in Oakland, getting top tier talent on the field and vets that acted as coaches on field. I’m worried about a return to last year’s (and Tampa years) Gruden... Where he terribly

I think that’s the way to go, I’d hate to bring a car in for a warrantied recall and drive away with a ticking time bomb of ill-reconstructed oil starved scrap metal. Better to wait and see how big of a problem those springs are— could be they fail under mild over-revs or mild boost pressures and they’re tailoring to

I would avoid that repair. It sounds like a rare failure rate with the stock springs... Lot of work by a dealer with a high failure rate to replace them...

Gruden is going to be a constant for a while, they were always going to have to win in spite of him, having garbage wide receivers wasn't going to help he or Carr. Having a true #1 receiver that gets open consistently and catches everything thrown his way should help though. If Carr flames out with AB he'd flame out

I’ll own it however it turns out... I expect big things from him even in this upcoming season; I think he’d be good in just about any system but is pretty close to ideal in the Raiders offense.

Probably when we picked up Rice and he was dominant as a 39yo...

With how much dead cap money they’re eating-- seems like a better option would have been to keep him under contract out of spite -- I mean we’re talking a $1M difference next year to lose one of the best players in the league and get almost nothing in return. I assumed it would take a first to get him even with the

Carr has had some issues tooth his confidence since the Redskins game where it seemed his teammates on line decided to be turnstiles. I saw flashes of his old self last year though, and AB will be a hell of a confidence booster. He definitely won’t be drop City like every receiver other than Cook and Nelson last year,

He had a lot of damn good seasons while being underpaid... I personally doubt he’s going to stop showing up now that he’s appropriately paid.

I see AB as a closer comparison to prime Moss without the motivation issues... not quite the ability to bring down jump balls but much better route runner than TO or Moss, more Rice-like in that regard.

TO had a problem with drops, even at that stage in his career IIRC. Can't be dropping the ball when the separation starts to erode due to age...  And IMO Owens could still play when he was ushered out of the league prematurely.

If I’d seen anything resembling a drop off in him I’d agree, but he’s shown no signs to me of showing down and I think his game will age well.

I honestly can’t believe that’s all the Steelers could get for him. Super happy as a Raiders fan, but jeez, what a fleecing. AB is the best wideout in the league hands down and we got him for the equivalent of a mid second round pick, with the Steelers having to eat 20M in cap space. I guess teams were really scared

California was a perfectly acceptable place for people to abstain from voting for Hillary to send a message to the DNC to bring equity to their primary process. It was never going to go for Trump, not with all the abstainers in the state staying home. That said, those people should have also gone out and voted for

I will never buy a car I can't test drive, new cars included. With an old car they're likely hiding something unless it's a priceless classic. 17 year old Camaros don't fit that bill. Clearly nobody is allowed to drive this car because they'll immediately feel how off it is from the crash damage...

That flatworms release is excellent. It’s perfect for workday commute traffic fury.

My Fiat did this for a while due to a crimped fuel line. Had a hell of a time trying to figure that out as it was running fine before I replaced the timing belt, idled fine, dry revved fine; a rubber line compressing on itself never occurred to me.

I just assumed the entire rally was the line for a single beer garden where everyone paid $60 to get access to ‘unlimited alcohol’...

I made a long taped together tube out of poster board and used it to connect the two 6.5" speakers across the trunk of a 1990 Camry wagon. That stereo bumped at 400Hz lol.
