I disagree with the primary premise that the game is more fun. 45 point outputs are mundane, teams lack identity, great defenses are basically impossible to assemble. It won’t even feel special when someone drops 80 on my fave team (Raiders). I rather enjoyed running games and big clean hits, and it was nice knowing

I think he knows better than to search for *that* on the Internet... But he's clearly ok with snuffing out a few lives in this country.

I spent the whole day on Sunday working on my brakes and thankfully missed all but a few of the sacks and turnovers. I wish I had something similarly miserable but not as miserable as watching the Raiders to do this upcoming weekend. I’m only slightly less ashamed to be a Raiders fan than I would be to be a fan of the

Even so, he was ok under pressure in the rare times it reached him, often took big hits after delivering the ball. He was undeniably good and fearless that season. He looks like he hears the footsteps before the ball has even been snapped ever since the injury.

If you’re having a hard time getting your motor to idle for the application you’ve chosen, you’re probably using the wrong motor. Hell, they probably would have been better off trying to use the last gen 2.4L N/A V8... Or maybe fudging the numbers a bit and using a 2.4L turbo V8. This seems designed exclusively to

When I worked in paint and hardware in the 90s for my first job you’re right, half of the job was trying to sell the stupid card on every sale. At least another third of the job was exchanging 40+ broken tools for people who bought broken batches at yard sales.

Meanwhile while protestors are being attacked by fascists concern trolls on here are upset at the thought of protestors having their sign attached to a stick or metal rod for self defense purposes. The police clearly aren't going to protect anyone...

I don’t think the problem is exclusive to them by any means. The genre has expanded so much that it’s difficult to cover, I think. I like most of the coverage they do have here but hip hop in general is really slow to get covered, if it gets covered at all, by most publications that try to take a broad swath approach.

It says a lot for Carpenter that my wife could sit through all of Marytrs and Irreversible but couldn’t make it through “The Thing”. His movies always seemed like they should be schlock and rose above, as remakes they're just the schlock.

Works out to about 5% of the value with about a 5 year depreciation cycle, so basically over 5 years you would pay about 15-20% of the car’s value in taxes. Then if you’re in certain cities (Alexandria) you also have city taxes...

$15K is the equivalent of $100 for someone that makes $100K/year *for him*, it’s totally in-line with his behavior.

The metal that he shows coated looks ok... As in smooth and not cratered/Swiss cheese... But it's the pictures he doesn't show that worry me. No shot of the trunk interior to see if it crept up to the shock mount. Once those rust out you're looking at a lot of rust repair. Seeing as that's how my 325iX died, I've

She probably imagines her husband can't possibly be a rapist to the women he's assaulted because he hasn't been able to give her any 'hard evidence' since Barron.

15k/15M = 100/100k...

It’s a civil suit so it makes sense to request damages commensurate with Brown’s wealth and income. Almost dying can impact anyone, and yeah, a 3 foot tall vase falling from 15 stories up is deadly, so 15K doesn’t seem out of reason at all... It would cover the cost of counseling for years if that’s necessary.

If I can’t get there on a hike, elevator or helicopter I’ll pass. All props to him for reaching the peak, I’m just glad I don’t require that sort of external validation of accomplishment.

Got 3.5% on my 2006 S2000 when I bought it about 2 yrs ago. My mortgage rate from 8 months ago is higher...

These look stellar-- I’m totally blown away. Wow.

I’ve been a huge fan of his since Warrior. He’s one of the better young actors out there right now IMO. I thought he was perfect in Mad Max for what the role was, and I’ve pretty much liked him in every role I’ve seen him in since. Great range and he can chew scenery with the best of them.
