Yeah, that the Authority turns out to be just a Cabal of religiously zealous older vampires is about as uninteresting a direction as the show could have gone. Not a one of them seemed like they could invoke the kind of respect that the Authority has been given previous to this season.

How was Roman's death anything but completely predictable? The show has been screaming at us that Salome is probably the Sanguinista leader, and now she's in charge of Russell E's interrogation. Also, Russell is so much more of a Dynamic character than Roman, who just stood around giving speeches and getting angry…

I thought that maybe Andrea and Brock were staying with Jesse (where Walt saw them before Tyrus tazed him), and that's where Walt poisoned the kid, but it's just speculation.

Except that Hank sees Gus as the kingpin, and Gus is already dead, so maybe the business of mopping up the details seems less urgent, at least enough so that the DEA would follow the chain of custody so that a day or two might not seem like such a big wait to them.
