No... no it isn’t. Subaru is the Chrysler of Japan... putting out the odd SRT edition hoon-mobile, while the rest of the line languishes in boredom. Remember, North America just doesn’t get the interesting wagons from Mazda,

It gets really cool at night when they have the laser guides going.
Pssssh try 22 plows and salt trucks in a stream up here in Canada
Yes, this train will be fully booked for years to come. Japan does have an enormous rail fan population, likely out number all the commuters in the US.
Someone reproduce the Dymaxion
I really love every about the Mini of that year... except the interior.. Its pretty much the one aspect the keeps me from the brand. I know its based on the original, but in modern guise its so kitsch looking. The 2019 interior does look far better though.
Ummm it didn’t out-sell Mercedes... not even close. 2018 Merc sold 319,159 vehicles in the US. BMW & Audi also out sold at 276,657 and 230,000 vehicles respectively in the US.
A lot of moving parts that you’d have to separate provide current through. Also, if its like in Canada, most of our natural gas lines run along rail corridors instead of electrical lines. Or in some cases, propane tanks are used in remote locations.
If you’re traveling around Canada, this is a common site. Most of our switches have natural gas heaters.
Ugh, the US did have a portable reactor, PM-3A and deployed it to McMurdo Antarctica.
Back before anyone heard of or let alone knew what SPOON or REsuperG was.
Everything you listed as hardship to drifting is what exactly made it appealing to so many, especially to my cohort (30's). We grew up with pre-Americanized drifting, where to see drifting was either to do it yourself or see rare DVD’s from Japan. So many nights I remember touring the countryside in my Rx-7 with a…
Wait, curious, what car do you drive that is 3 ton? (or tonnes depending). I have a bloated Crown Vic Interceptor and that’s just over 2 US Tons.
You all can come up to Canada for your Yaris Hatchback needs :)
I give it 1 month after it goes on sale that a 2JZ is swapped Supra is running around on the streets
Its not the shifting (which is just a program setup on a CVT) its the inherent inability for CVT’s to handle continuous track use. A lot of heat build up and a lot of components under strain vs. a DCT which is essentially a robotized manual. Failures of a DCT is limited mostly to the actuators, a CVT has a myriad of…
So if the turbo 4 Supra comes to Canada, whats going to happen with the 86? The 86 sits at 1/2 the price, but I’m going to assume the 4 cylinder Supra will come in at a slight discount for only 50hp more than the lighter 86.
Yeah, as with all ST and RS trims, better to buy one year later. Not horrible depreciation, but gets you into the nice “I don’t mind paying that” region.
Edge ST: 335hp @ 4477 lbs = 13.3lbs per horsepower
Explorer ST 400 @ 4900 lbs = 12.25 lbs per horsepower
Am I wrong, but the “TRACK READY” car only comes in a Slushmatic? We all know a manual was a long shot, but a DCT is the only way to go in a manuals absence...
