Maybe science books in the US don’t cover other nations work, but since I was a kid I remember the Simpsons using that unbuilt shuttle as a reference.
Wonder how much farther it rolled than way back when May rolled a Mystro
Yeah, those damn young’in seniors! haha
Yes, because we need to beat our seniors more often
FCA should have just built them in Canada... where all their top rated platforms come from.
“We are not producing an SUV, because an SUV is not a sports car – it can be fast, but it’s not a sports car. We are not producing a four-door because, while a four-door can be fast, it’s not a sports car.”
Honestly they just need to hire a whack of people to drive them around so the public can see them. I haven’t even seen one in Ontario and I don’t make a habit of driving out to my Chevy dealer.
Its also priced very well in Ontario at $29,000 (with the full $14,000 rebate). But honestly I’ll soon be able to walk into…
Well, the rest of the world doesn’t need more over sized American trucks, but can get along happily with true medium sized trucks. It’s also only €4,000 more than a top-end Hilux (which has way less power), which isn’t known for luxury in the rest of the world. It sits nicely in the global market as an upscale truck,…
yeah, but the Alpine might drive farther than 100 yards off the lot before the check engine light comes on
Why don’t they just bring back the RS badge and tune the engine up to BRZ levels? Simple solution without muddling the WRX badge.
Or when the TTC breaks down in its usual fashion, you get this at street nightmare,
Subaru doesn’t make any sense. They could have lightly detuned the BRZ engine to 170-80 range and give the Crosstrek a chance... or even offer two engine packages. Bring back the RS badge with an output close to 190 and focus on a torque pump.
More frightening is that the 152hp engine is MORE powerful than the first engine they offered at 148hp! I know why they are doing it, Subaru needs to lower its emissions across the board, but at the expense of downgrading their lineup. It just boggles my mind how they can offer a car with more weight and less power…
Forgive the engine??? The thing is glacial slow!! It weighs more and has less power than my 2.5i. And that thing wasn’t fast and you really had to pick and choose who you passed.
FIA has been physically testing it since 2011... though I’m still worried the current design might fail like FIA’s tests showed.
Detroit muscle... I think you mean Brampton Muscle.. sounds less exciting though...
Mostly to show the world we can mint the purist gold standard. Generally the world gets near 99.99% pure, we got the extra 0.009%, which as I understand is a big feet for minting metals.
