Why is Dodge the only US company doing outrageous things? Ford seems to be playing the understated cared with a lot (ie, Taurus SHO). But I want a fun car, and I think a lot of people do want that. Look at AMG, they used to be super refined hi-po versions of normal Benz’s, now their just louvered monsters to chew

You’re assuming the very few remaining holdover staffers are being all that supportive?

When the US closes the borders, will China send their or Black Fleet?

Canada was the first to use recycled content in Olympic medals, albeit and incredibly small amount! Only 1.5% of each medal was from e-waste.

The best part of the US is its constitutional checks and balances. While Canada isn’t a heavy hitter, our own Prime Minister with a majority wields almost unstoppable power. I once read that of the democratic countries, Canada’s leadership is the least democratic with its consolation of power.

20 years of power for an average US household... or 60!!! years for an average EU household.

Putin’s goal of reunifying former Soviet states (a la Ukraine). Russia has had a thing for Poland over the centuries (as had most countries surround it. Unfortunately, Poland is stuck in the middle of most territorial wars).

Then the article incorrectly states you cannot

Pretty sure you don’t have to for all cars, huge amount of American’s come up here to buy our trucks for a lower dollar rate. I know a US dealer cannot transfer a car from Canada to the US for sales (trade laws), but a private citizen certainly can come up and pay all the associated fees for a vehicle. No different

And they are delicious :)

Yeah, John dies in the book alone to the chicken-dinos

Putting up your wipers wears the springs and makes them chatter? No, sorry no. Any modern car is designed so the wipers can be pulled up and not apply much more tension than having them rest on your windshield. Its a simple pivot point that doesn’t change the springs dimensions, up or down. The motion of putting them

I tried finding the video I once had of the engine being dyno’d and the intake runners doing their magic.

Now playing

Variable length intake runner you say...

I never got the D-cell reason either. Its MORE expensive to find those damn batteries (and even worse if they are rechargeable) when for $20 you can get lithium laptop battery pack. And it could slide in like a clip, add to the extreme-deathness they are going for.

Oh this happens to be so much. I can always hit the clutch without thinking, but my Abarths’ brake and gas pedals are in line and separated by an inch. I end up jamming both gas and brake (which I guess is ok in a standard, but in an auto I do the ghost clutch kick it brake and gas at once).

Or the more convoluted way I see American’s getting these cars for nearly the same price is, come to Canada and buy the car here. Our cars are slightly inflated in price compared to the US and we have all our wonderful high taxes, but your dollar is stronger so it should come out nearly the same as buying in the US.

Depends on the VW driver. My father has owned 4 Diesel/tdi’s and all had over 400,000km and probably never spent much more than $5,000 for total repairs/maintenance. Now these where DONE when he retired them, but he extracted every nickel out of them. I find VW is a flip of a coin. Our family has had fantastic luck,
