Not necessarily a sign that Google wants it as a revenue stream. Its more a sign that they want to ensure that the Autonomous car division is an isolated asset from the rest of the company. If it succeeds, great but if it doesn’t they can scuttle it or sell it off without being an accounting nightmare.

HOLY SHIT, we’re right back at the 1990’s! It’s always been like this where the hi-po Camaro beats a base model Corvette. No news.

$60,000 Defender? Its DOA in the North American market. Why pay that when you can get a fully loaded pickup or big SUV? So you’re not going to win over truck owners. Off roading practicallity has an inverse relation to the cost of the vehicle. $30K for a Wrangler is just cheap enough that it sits in the “yeah I can

It’s more the cost factor for Canada. We have what, 60 operational F18’s? We’re not a high volume purchaser. The F35 just isn’t a competitively priced airframe for most of Canada’s roles. Which we’ve now realigned to sovereign protection vs. global campaigns.

Everyone is bringing up how undrivable and non-rational 1980’s/90’s supercars were and that the Original NSX ushered in a reliable, drivable supercar. But here’s the issue today, we already have tons and tons of reliable, drivable and rational supercars today. The NSX has little to stand out from the crowd now. I’d

Hurry up Boeing, Canada will gladly take an order of Super Hornets as the F35 option is essentially dead here.

118hp @ 2899 lb curb weight. In comparison a 2016 Subaru Impreza 2.0 tips the scales at 2955 lbs with 146hp (almost the same power to weight ratios). Neither are a blisteringly fast car, but I’d suspect if it ever was to come to North America we’d get the hi-po 2.5L with 188hp (or more?). I personally just want to see

Hell I’d be happy if they just gave North America the 1.5 Turbo AWD 6MT Mazda3 (Axela)!

Wha wha wha Hydrogen will never be a reality... look people, some of the largest automakers are betting it is and I’d put my trust in the companies where their entire livelihood depends on selling you cars vs. any armchair critic about how hydrogen isn’t going to be a viable fuel source. Its here and viable in other

Sarcasm? Not sure... but to answer your question, Lambo sold 2121 cars in 2013 and generated about $33,000 per car in profits, which is more than VAG can generate per Porsche (about $28,000 per car). Or another perspective, Lambo generated $704 million in operating profits in 2013 while new Mclaren for the first time

Independent is a nice idea, except it hasn’t happened since the original owners sold it in the 70’s. From the 70’s on Lambo’s have been owned from everything from Middle Eastern multinationals to Chrysler. I doubt Lambo could get a loan to buy itself out when it relies so heavily on Audi R&D and financial backing.

Sure we all miss the craziness but lets face it, if it wasn’t for VAG Lambo’s would never have been able to modernize and become a challenging (and profitable) force in the auto industry.

Hopefully they fix the Titans horrendous fuel mileage in gas trim.

Interesting part is that both Turkey and Canada are armed with the same AIM-120 AMRAAM, the same AAM type that took down the SU-24

And Canada was criticized for carrying air-to-air missiles when going into Syria ;)
