As a resident of Bay Ridge I can vouch for Dyker Heights. I’d bet some of the houses can be seen from space. As a neighborhood Dyker Heights is close enough to Bensonhurst that it encourages the kind of insane holiday one-upmanship only mob money can buy. Truly spectacular in its excess. Not to be missed.

How practical would this be for a true newbie? I.e., zero app dev or coding experience whatsoever. Been looking to jump in but I have no idea where to start and everyone has different opinions on what the ‘starter’ material should be.
