He got the same agent as the volleyball in Top Gun who later landed the gig as Wilson in Castaway I think it was someone at CSA?

I see Rocket is doing cameo appearances in other studios’ movies. How does his deal with Disney allow him to do that?🤣

FYI: the dish they were preparing is called Raccocoonie, the animal is known as Racoocoonie’s Monster.

There are around 200 traffic related deaths involving deer every year. And deer don’t eat people or step on people.

For anyone who has bounced off of Critical Role or Dimension 20 in the past this might be the one that sinks the hooks in. The fact that they know they only have four episodes to tell the story, and they know the end they’re barreling towards, seems to have everyone firing on all cylinders.

Black Canary, too. Maybe not a straight up musical, and I certainly wouldn’t want the same vibe as Scott Pilgrim, but that kind of battle of the bands as the overarching plot would be rad.

Dazzler is the obvious choice.

“How could they, after listening to three and a half weeks of testimony about how I was an un-credible person, not...believe a word that came out of my mouth?”

He’s going to be really upset when he hears about this new western lib fanservice anime featuring gender bending as its central plot point:

Ahahaha, you really think a random piece of merchandise is more canonical than the actual manga? Yeah, you’re not grasping at straws at all.

I do find the notion of a fan of anime and manga calling gender bending content “western propaganda” quite amusing.

Dude, official sources from outside of the manga have been wrong before. At some point they confirmed that Shanks was a Yonkou when he met Luffy, turned out that was proven wrong in the manga. I’m not saying Yamato will end up as a confirmed guy for the rest of the story, I don’t think it’s Oda’s intention either. But

Fuck yeah.

Why can’t they just do, like, a cowboy movie with these? “The dinosaurs are loose, we gotta round them up across the American West before X deadline otherwise the government is authorizing lethal force against them, our buddy raptor Blue is going to help us, and some of our obstacles are people who have taken them in

The tale about the headless horseman who terrorizes a small town and its newest resident, Ichabod Crane, has seen many iterations over the decades including the 1949 Disney animated movie and the 2010s Fox TV series.

Given that the voice they went with sounds like one of a non-actor reading lines in a wooden way, its hard to see Gary Oldman as Grevious as anything other than an improvement.

ugh kids these days.  forgetting to mention the movies Leon or The Fifth Element.

Now playing

If you’re inclined to dunk on the movie version of Grievous (and he is indeed pretty dunkable), take a few minutes to watch the cartoon version.

I’m going to cross my fingers and hope that there’s a credits gag or stinger with little kid Andy hopping with excitement coming out of the theater saying how much he needs/wants a Buzz Lightyear toy.

Yeah I knew Ashley Johnson more recently from Blindspot, a goofy FBI procedural that ended a year or two ago. She was the science geek and her on-screen dad was Bill Nye playing himself. It was dumb and fun!
