“Wake Up” was released in 1992

The email they sent out claimed that if you didn’t join the waitlist you wouldn’t be able to sign up at all unless someone who did sign up sent you one of their limited friend invites. They also didn’t explain what the waitlist was for. Looks like this press release is missing a lot of necessary info as well.

The events in this film already exist in the Toy Story universe as a film according to the director. This is 100% a prequel, just a very meta prequel.

It’s not a prequel because the toy Buzz is based off of an imaginary cartoon that this spun off from this movie in the imaginary past of imagination land? Did you read the article? If so, you believed any of that nonsense?

Godfather part II

The main problem with Solo isn’t that it’s a prequel. Prequels aren’t inherently bad, they are just typically handled poorly. Solo is bad because it’s entire story was based off of throw-away lines and props. It also recycled his character arc from ANH.

I have a feeling this is going to end up just like Solo. There seems to be a bunch of nostalgia used as plot elements based on the trailers. He’s going to get his iconic suit and catch phrase at some point. I’m sure they will try to manufacture some emotion from some obscure Lightyear lore like the dice in the Falcon.…
