This is the first I have heard that the prequel centered on the Dance of Dragons. I am actually a little excited now!

The Castle of Cagliostro is on Netflix. It was directed by Miyazaki before he started Studio Ghibli, I believe. I haven’t seen any other Lupin media but from what I understand most of it is very stand alone, like the majority of James Bond.

The Academy should be more concerned with the diversity of its members. The more diverse it is the more diverse films will be nominated for all categories. The “wild” elements of the story are really just an in game explanation of the new game plus mechanic and the summonable party members. I doubt they are going to base the plot of the show on that. If anything, the story should be avoided entirely since it was the worst aspect of the game.

The trailer portrayed this as a straight up psychological horror film which I hope is accurate. It wouldn’t be the first time a studio marketed a weird movie as horror to try and find an audience.
