Point taken, it's not impossible to build a new track as described, but I don't see any AAA+ professional series events on the schedule or grandstands. I just think that as the costs, liabilities, and requirements scale up, the appetite for risk evaporates- therefore the large runoffs and flat tracks.
I wouldn't have paved run-offs so large you could land a 747 on it (or so someone like Charles Pic can lose control of his Marussia and continue racing). If you make a mistake or push it too far on my track, you will pay the price.
