Synergy Green was a 2010 only special package option. Used market seems to command a $1,500-3,000 over other color options (LS/SS split)

I don't think it's confusing. Motorama shows toured the country and drew MILLIONS of people to look at 1950's future-tech. For every Jetfire that wasn't sold, thousands of refrigerators, Air conditioners, oven/ranges, washing machines, and Chevys were.
Neutral: When Did You Start Driving? How cheap was it? Did you have a job? Could you have afforded to drive without one?
Oh Jesus, the noise. I was at the GM Heritage Center for an event a few years ago, and they pulled Firebird II into the parking lot to fire up the turbine.
Hot, smoky, scorched the pavement, and was impossibly loud.
"insert small block here"
Bored teens, Air horn, big 10,000 candle spot light, and an unlit railroad crossing with poor visibility: almost free
Getting chased by the cops for making some guy crap himself: priceless
They seem to be very popular around here. I drove one of these at a ride & drive (and rode shotgun for some people who really shouldn't be allowed to drive). The 1.4T isn't 'terrible', but people used to engines triple the size really would opt for a bigger motor. If the 2.5L na motor could fit, it'd be a good choice.
Re: Belts- Agreed, never lost one; but I put in a spring-loaded automatic tensioner anyway. After talking with some people that have owned dozens of these things, it was really only an issue with first gen cars with the steel fan and the 3 speed manual. (or ignoring the manual idler/tensioner completely and letting…
So much for the "Black people are morally obligated to watch BET and read Ebony because it's their channel/magazine" philosophy that seems to pervade the advertising.
It's not like only white guys want to watch "Papillon" with Steve McQueen on AMC, right?
I hate this Raphael Saddiq/Toyota Prius commercial with every fiber of my being. It only airs on BET, TV One and Centric. I don't mind that it airs only there. I get targeted marketing.
Roads close all the time for parades; I've heard administrative fees of 500-1000$ for somewhat heavily traveled state roads.
Now, for this, I'd expect most officials will want specific proof of liability insurance for said event. I've had better luck just asking permission from farmers between crops or after harvest..…
Oldsmobile F-88 concept car:
I'm still loathe to like him (Still kind of an early Tesla Eberhard fan) but this is pretty cool.
No harm in modifying the real prop: the movie was pretty terrible, and I'm sure they'd have rather had a real submersible car than two props.
The biggest issue with the Z/28 was the name itself. Half of the team wanted to call it "Z28" without the slash mark. That was used on the last Z28 in the fourth-gen Camaro. But the other half wanted to bring back the slash used on prior generations. Designers crafted a bunch of badges with cardboard and engineers…
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee has an unconventional face, but as Jason learned recently, it's the real deal both on and off road. There's only one problem: you can't buy one even if you wanted to. Where are all the Cherokees?
They make industrial controls too. And airplanes. And HVAC units, and Machine tooling, and electrical distribution equipment, and it goes on. Toyota is pretty small-time when it comes to traditional Japanese conglomerates, look at Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) or Kawasaki.
Having not launched a rocket in 10 years; doesn't purchasing a G motor require an FAA waiver?
(did this a decade ago with a pinewood derby car... but the C motor I used still had an ejection charge)
I enjoy the schadenfreude of the terrible picks.
I don't even understand why there's a poll for this one. Just NP it and move on?
Sounds like it's only banned from being in the ECU... but as the quote goes, "if you're not cheating, you're not trying"
