My suspicion is this either happened a year or two ago, or their lawyers did some magic, and approved only the release of very specific bits of information to the point that they aren’t in danger of incrimination. For instance, I’ve not seen a publication release a specific date this occurred.

Wanna take a guess as to how many accidents have involved cannonball attempts? Go ahead, I’ll wait.

I missed it.  What article was that in?

I mean, I'm sure it was done more for advertising capability than anything, but I agree.  If I can ever afford a GTR I might have to hit this guy up for the taillights, and maybe the turn signal.  But certainly none of the other junk.

Where do I vote crack pipe? At 30k, it’s a cool radwood car and probably worth having.  At 50k? If I had the money it might be worth having a weird piece of Lambo history, but at over 100? Not a chance.

I mean, the Jag pulled it off well.  Just because no one else has made it look decent doesn't mean it cant be done.  And this is coming from someone who despises electric vehicles.  Internal combustion til I die!

I do respect the technical aspect of it for sure. Not sure I knew that all the stunts were done for real, but knew the vehicles were and fully respect that. I think it was just over hyped to me so much that by the time I saw it I was like, meh, that was cool, but not to the level of hype. But you’ve sold me on giving

That's a good write up, and an interesting take.  Thanks for sharing.  I may have to give it another watch.

Also, who do I petition to get un-greyed?  I've been here forever, can we get a little love for this kei car nerd over here?

Am I the only person who doesn't get the big deal about Mad Max?  I mean, yeah there were cool cars and stuff, and it is an interesting concept, but... It just didn't really do all that much for me.  I was like, yeah cool, that was entertaining, but not something I would rewatch a bunch of times or anything.

They’re telling us they know what we want, but don’t care, because they're better than you.

My thought as well. Aston makes beautiful cars, so that’s no insult, but were I wealthy and wanted an exotic GT car, I think I’d pick Aston for the manual.

Yup.  Give me a manual and I'd happily be a Supra owner.  Until then?  Meh.

This was my thought as well.  As the 7 year loan was pushed, it would logically follow that those who buy new cars would buy them less frequently.  Because money.

Yall can snark as much as you want, but there are many times that a quick rev has alerted some idiot who was texting to the fact that I'm there and prevented them from hitting me.  Yes, I know how to ride, and yes I take the safest route possible when navigating traffic.  But the reality remains that being on two

Nah, they're parked illegally on private property.  Have the cops tow it to an impound.  People need to learn some friggin manners.

Good on you for being one of the few that keep manuals alive.  If I ever get money I hope to still have options to do the same.

Wait, we *don't* want the autonomous cars to hit cyclists?

Kia is going back to their “lets rip off ths styling of an obviously better car” days.  Hmm.  We'll see if they really pull off a winner here, or just another car for those that wish they had the real thing.

Good on you for not giving in to the man child who believed everyone owed him everything.  (As an aside, it sounds like the type of person who always complains about how entitled millennials are.  *eyeroll*)
