Any reader of Lifehacker is unlikely to really want to disappear forever. I think the trick is to find some balance between being online and still be relatively anonymous. Facebook is obviously not the place to be if you want to be anonymous, or using any service that connects with Facebook.

I like www.roku.com

@A Magician Named Gob: That's fine. I develop for the iPhone so I'm glad it's doing well. I just think objectively WebOS is more powerful and more elegant. But to each his own.

@snitch: I have a PalmPre, so I had plenty of experience. I also have an iPhone and an Android. WebOS kicks ass. It just didn't have the hardware to exploit it.

@Yankton: Man, you have a lot of time on your hands. Awesome, nonetheless.

This thing just screams for a 4.3" screen. With all those cards it would be too cramped on the original Palm Pre I think. WebOS WinMoPho7.

@MagicTrackpad: I'm an Anroid fanboy and I also approve this message.

@A Magician Named Gob: Apps and the OS are two different things though. There are cool apps on iOS but that's only because the developers are there. As an OS, WebOS kills iOS hands down.

@Nabaraj: I hope #2 mean WinMoPho7? Man, that just rolls off of your tongue...WinMoPho7.

@SketchCritic: It will probably be awhile, but you never know. Hopefully HP will know better than to release the next WebOS phone with anything less than top of the line specs.

The only redeeming quality of T-Mobile to me is the ability to go month to month without a contract and still have a data plan. AND it's cheaper than going on contract. I'd buy an unlocked phone and go month to month any day.

Maybe I'm biased since I just switched over to Sprint because of reception problems with T-Mo, but is T-Mo any better than AT&T? Seems like in LA at least the reception on my T-Mo phone is always worse than AT&T's.

@KeyserSöze: That's way more exciting than cremation.

Imagine that pointy nose coming at you at 1000mph. Wonder what kind of damage that would do?

Love the paint job and color scheme.

@phoenix6666: Agree completely. How does that quote go again? "With great power comes great responsibility."

Right after 9/11, I was near ground zero taking pictures and the police was harassing another person next to me saying that he (the policeman) does not want his picture taken. None of us were press so there is no reasonable expectation that the pictures will be published.
