@waltonchels: In West LA, where she lives, it's not unrealistic at all. Between IVF, donor eggs, and adoption, there are tons of women here having their first kids in their early 50's.

This is the end of the slippery slope begun by headscarves and burqus.

@Wiffy: Because "verboten" has, by adoption, become a word that is common in American English usage, and therefore has meaning to American English speakers. This is not true of the words you bring up.

Great. This woman encouraged and compelled her employees to illegally use steroids basically to contribute to her personal wealth. Good to know the GOP has found another winner.

@Wiffy: American English is the richest language in the world right now because it incorporates words from many other languages and does not guard its own "purity." Why would anyone want to take away this amazing flexibility?

@NellMood: Those parents are going to regret that purchase!

I think a little frisson of erotic tension makes a friendship even more fun.

@dnarcidy: Because Hooters is tacky.

@NellMood: I think they have snaps so you don't have to pull them off - you just open 'em up.

@ekaterinaballerina: I know Gretchen - she's worse than she's being portrayed. She's an egomaniacal bitch.

10 months?!!?!?! That's it? They couldn't make it longer than 10 months? Jeez.

@CassandraSays: Clothes are not necessarily made to fit you perfectly off the rack - especially well-made expensive clothes. A 37 inch inseam means almost any woman can have those pants hemmed to the length that suits her, with whatever heel height she chooses to wear, and can leave what's called an "allowance" so

Looks pretty healthy and well-rounded to me.

@der gugelhupf: Also, it's UK Chinese food, which is very different from American Chinese food.

Who doesn't think that celebrities have nannies for their children? The Forbes article seems to assume that regular people are total idiots. Most of the working parents I know have nannies for their kids, for chrissakes. This is so not a scandal, I don't understand it.

How many times has Ginger Spice been 38? It's gotta be 4 or 5 at this point.

@millelilly: The answer to all of these questions is that Yoko Ono is batshit crazy.

She's right. Audrey Hepburn was a lovely woman, but a lousy actress.

I'm having trouble with the idea of taking fashion advice from a grown woman whose shoe collection looks like that of a 10-year-old girl.
