I don’t understand why generator range extenders aren’t more popular. A van-like vehicle would be perfect for something like that.

Most of these will probably go into old, big cars; and they’ll have plenty of room for batteries in the engine bay. In fact; they will have to add as many batteries as they need to match the original engine bay weight in order for the car to handle properly.

We will never know because LAPD put it all inside of a closed metal container; turning virtually anything flammable into a deadly bomb. There could have been nothing but sawdust in that thing for all we know.
