By blowing up the truck; they didn’t save money in the end anyway.

Their idea of IEDs could be anything from sparklers still in the packaging to actual IEDs, though.

These are the same kind of people that say a bag of skittles are a lethal projectile weapon.

I’m surprised people are surprised that the people who definitely failed high school chemistry thought it was a good idea to put a bunch of flammables into a closed metal vessel.

I looked everywhere for a decent manual Legacy GT when my Forester died. Nothing after about a month, and I needed a car sooner than later. Ended up buying a WRX hatchback; which I love now.

But about 2 weeks after a Spec B. popped up for sale a few towns over. I was so tempted to swap my WRX for it, but ultimately

Tesla Model Y also.

Here I was preparing to say the exact opposite.  I think it looks like trash in photos; but in person; it looks futuristic and rugged; and very sculpted.

I actively oppose that metric as it is a marketing tool invented by gas and oil companies.

EV’s are something like 70% efficient at converting to kinetic energy why gasoline ENGINES are about 20-30% efficient. And that’s NOT to the wheels.

To truly compare to gasoline costs; you’ve got to multiply MPGe by at least 4.

I kind of agree with this now that I think about it. People didn’t take the Oregon Trail just to come back East.

“Fuck it. We’ll do it later. Who gives a shit?”

I’d reserve one if it had that.

The other answer is sometimes it’s only profitable when you upsell them into a higher trim vehicle a few years later. Subsidize the customer in the first car; retain them as a customer.

Only works if the first car is actually good.

That’s a damn good point.

I blame that gamestop bullshit.

Boring. I wanna see the Maverick.

I know what an F-150 looks like, and I can imagine the lightbar they added that probably won’t make it to production to signify it’s electric drivetrain.

I want to see the Maverick; a truck I’d actually consider buying.

They’ve never called a wagon a shooting brake though; that’s the point.

Yeah, you guys bought houses then built campers for fun. Now people are forced to live in these things.

It should be red for human driver, green for autonomous modes, and purple for Samuel L Jackson.
