Hoyer seems like the logical choice to become Brady’s backup, but he’s also rumored to have a couple of other teams interested in him and he likely still wants to play, so it’s no slam dunk he goes back to New England. The Pats are on a bye week this weekend, so they have a bit more time to figure out the position.

And of “team”.

Hi, I’m a doctor with degrees in reproductive health and health education - I wanted to add a few important pieces of information to what you said in this article. Latex, polyeurethane, and polyisoprene condoms are non-porous - HIV cannot get through. BUT, “lambskin” condoms ARE porous, and the teeeeeny holes are

He looks ok in his profile picture at least:

they’ll have their money and their good looks, but the respect of virtually no one.

I’ve told the story before, I’ll tell it again.

This is why I frequent The Root. I’ve had my ass handed to me a few times for something I didn’t mean in an offensive way, and while sometimes I think people are misinterpreting me, I always appreciate the chance to reconsider what I said and whether it came from a place of bias or sounded offensive.

You will need a screwdriver, a pair of tweezers, a magnifying glass (optional), some salt (~1tbsp), and a bag of chicken feed, preferably corn-based.

I don’t know that this article establishes clearly:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And a tomato is a fruit, and a carrot is president.

That’s what I’ve always struggled to understand. Even if you think climate change is bunk, unconfirmed, whatever—the benefits of taking care of the environment are easily seen in the here and now. (And I like being able to breathe, having clean water and outdoor spaces to enjoy, thankyouverymuch.)

A bunch of NIMBY people who don’t live in an affected area or just people forgetting, I guess. We’ll unfortunately probably go back to the “hell with the lid off” days in some places before having to once again clean it all up.

I mean if you’ve been living in a glass skyscraper which is cleaned monthly for the last few decades I can see how maybe you don’t notice the pollution. Maybe?

Skippity doo dah, skippity eh, my oh my what large sum to pay!

we had 8 whole years of it under bush. didnt work then, not going to work now... will never work.
