“Never again will mortal eyes gaze upon Victor von DOOM...from this moment on, I shall be known as DOCTOR DOOM”.

DOOM APPROVES

NO SCREEN IS BIG ENOUGH FOR DOOM!

Needs more Kirby.

A full-bore Dark Phoenix adaptation would make me so fucking happy. And an Annihilation adaptation would likely kill me.

The MCU needs Sub-Mariner.

That scene between Wayne and Amelia at the beginning was beautiful.  That is what a good marriage is, the ability to sit down, cut through all the bullshit, and talk about the stuff you need to talk about in order to keep the both of you going.  No accusations, no blame, no guilt, just an openminded talk between two

My only time meeting the guy, we watched a friend of mine play Monster Hunter Tri at GDC, and critiqued his play style/weapon choice. It felt like talking to another random fan.

I know it’s not exactly a high bar, but many video game executives don’t even bother to pretend to play games. Reggie had a Dragon Quest IX save with like 100 hours in it.

Its the end of an Era. The man has done so much for Nintendo both business wise and PR wise.

I remember an E3 event a few years ago where Reggie was sitting a few rows away from me, just playing 3DS like the rest of us schlubs.

I think a lot of people don’t understand how good of a job Reggie has done, I look forward to the “wow I didn’t realize...” reactions to the numerous think pieces that are to come.

Nah.

plus usual suspects, clerks, friday, swingers

While I did own The Matrix *eh hem* Velvet Goldmine, Tank Girl, and Dark City was what the weird kids owned.

It’s like trying to leave an airport on foot.

Check, check, check! You forgot Trainspotting though!!

I fit this profile and have never seen The Matrix. The other 2 I own to this day. You forgot, however, the obligatory inclusion of the Boondock Saints which speaks to a very primitive and simplistic view of righteousness and moral superiority.  I own that one as well.

Every high school boy in the early 2000s was legally required to own Office Space, Fight Club, and the Matrix on DVD.

Just like the moon landing, everyone remembers where they were when this aired, which given the average age here, narrows the list to about nine regulars.
