Not that I have seen. I fly with them pretty frequently. Points are points and they don’t expire. HOWEVER - they do fluctuate basically based on the current price of the same ticket in dollars.

Does southwest cap how many points can be used in a transaction or limit the number of award tickets on a given flight? Could be interesting if people get the points and they find out they can’t use them easily or they decide to update the point structure so they are not worth as much.
