Yes. It's been a sort of uncanny valley thing for me, as I mentioned upthread, but it was in response to someone who said that it seemed purposeful, like a heightened reality nod to the comics, which i like as a theory.

They really worked him over in an over-the-top state of decomp, didn't they?
That cheer routine was awful. (But it would be, wouldn't it? Cheryl created it.) Other than that though, I was struck by how much that pep rally looked and sounded like my own high school's football games. I don't see that kind of perfectly pulled off evocation of them on tv or movies very often (though I never…
That actually made me really happy.
I'm 47 and I'm loving this! I had no idea that I had so many feelings about Archie comics until the revival of sorts over the last few years. I read them all the time as a kid and I guess I still have a little room in the back of my mind devoted to them. Loving Afterlife With Archie, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,…

This is neither here not there, but you have a really clever username.
I'm in, buddy! I'm always up for a cheeseburger, and you'd be fun to hang with.
Me too!
Happy birthday!

Wow, that's got to be upsetting and disorienting for you. I'm so sorry.
My whole damn family is on both sides. Ugh. They have never had the most basic understanding of who I am as a person, let alone my politics.
Made a couple of bracelets last weekend, will make a vision board tomorrow night, and am making some tea tree and eucalyptus shower gel and lotion for my aunt this weekend. Winter is Craft Time for me.
Yikes. Happy birthday to him, and hang in there.
